About Us

Who We Are

At Limerick Counseling Center we are dedicated to support individuals, couples, and families to grow to their fullest potential.

We believe that all individuals have an internal resourcefulness and strength and that the therapeutic process can help individuals to manage life’s difficulties with more hope and motivation.

We believe that difficult times are not a sign of failure, but are part of life. And we believe that nobody is meant to walk through difficult times alone. We all need the connection to others and the support of one another to survive and to thrive.

About Kerstin Miller

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned my Masters Degree in Theology/Pastoral Counseling from the University of Hamburg, Germany. When I came to the United States in 1993, I worked at a Philadelphia medical center counseling chronically ill patients and their families. I then finished my post-graduate studies at Council for Relationships in 1995 and started my practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist.

I have since trained in several different modalities. I am a Certified Sex Therapist and a Certified EMDR Practitioner, and a trained educator for Prepare/ Enrich and Pairs Relationship Skills. I am a Clinical Member of AAMFT and AASECT. My therapeutic approach is integrated but mostly emotion focused. I am a Supervisor, and I enjoy supervising Master’s Students at Jefferson University and supervising interns in the post-graduate program at Council for Relationships.

    Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance and estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit http://www.cms.gov/nosurprises/consumers or call 1800-985-3059.
